Over the years, the state’s radio hall of fame awarded career achievement honors to more than 100 Georgia Radio professionals. When Friends of Georgia Radio opened our doors, our board decided to focus on inducting new Georgia Radio Legends and automatically accept previous hall of fame honorees into our organization as "Legends of Georgia Radio."
For a limited time, we’re making our Crystal Mic Legend Award available to those honored by the state's radio hall of fame.
These awards are beautiful custom-engraved crystal microphones with your name and designation as a “Georgia Radio Legend.” The cost is $189, which includes shipping.
To purchase this award, the recipient must have been named a career achievement winner by Georgia’s radio hall of fame and be a current member of Friends of Georgia Radio.

When will I receive the award?
The manufacturer will ship your award to your specified address after the ordering window closes on March 15, 2023. Email us if you haven’t received your award by April 5th.
Can I give this award as a gift?
Sure. The person named on the award must be a member of Friends of Georgia Radio and be among those honored with a lifetime achievement award by the state’s radio hall of fame.
Where does the money go?
Most of your payment goes toward the production and shipping of the award. Depending on the number of people who purchase one, roughly ¼ of your payment will go to providing college scholarships and events organized by Friends of Georgia Radio, a 501c3 non-profit.
