The Friends of Georgia Radio (FoGR) is now accepting applications for FoGR Scholarships ($1,500). The application process starts by filling out the form below.
​
​The applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and be classified as full-time students at an accredited college or university in Georgia.
​
Applicants must demonstrate an interest in a career in the radio industry
.
Applicants must also submit a 300-word essay explaining their goals and interests and why they are pursuing a career in radio.
​
All applicants must submit their resumes and a letter of recommendation.
​
​Friends of Georgia Radio scholarships will not be granted to the immediate family members of the Friends of Georgia Radio Board of Directors.
​
The entry deadline is Thursday, April 30, at 5 pm. The winning applicants will be notified by June 15, 2026.
​
Each scholaship-winning applicant will receive two (2) tickets to the Friends of Georgia Radio Hall of Fame ceremony scheduled for August 22, 2026, at The City Springs Performing Arts Center in Sandy Springs.
